My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series that first appeared in 2014. In a world where superpowers have become the norm, young Izuku Midoriya, labelled a Quirk due to his lack of powers, hopes to someday join his peers in becoming a hero. After superhero All Might realises Izuku’s potential and rewards him with the power “One For All,” Izuku enrols in a high school for young superheros. Following the success of the manga, the first season of the anime TV series aired in 2016, and the first film, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, was brought to theatres in 2018.
