One of Cartoon Network’s biggest shows of the 2010s, Adventure Time is an animated fantasy series following boy hero Finn and his magical companion Jake through their lives in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. The show takes advantage of a quirky sense of humour and a unique art style to set it apart from other cartoons. The blend of silly and deeply emotional moments combined with a host of strange and unusual characters (such as the Ice King and the disturbed Earl of Lemongrab) allows the show to connect with a teenage and young adult audience. Although the series finale aired in 2018, Adventure Time continues to entertain viewers of all ages.
